Julian, the brush strokes seem different from your other paintings. They seem larger and more sketch -like. I really like this painting and I especially love the shadows.
Just wondering if you used a flatter and larger brush?

Love that blue Julian! You can feel the light.
Instead of light, the shadow adds deeper perspective and enhances the - 3D effect.
